Watch incredible moment Ukraine ‘wipes out’ Putin’s prized Grad system
A stunning video reportedly shows a Ukrainian missile obliterating Vladimir Putin’s Grad rocket system.
The United States-provided High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) seems to have decimated the alleged BM-21 Grad launcher in Zaporizhzhia, though the video remains unconfirmed. This isn’t the first time the Ukraine has had success using the HIMARS against Russia, having destroying an S-300/S-400 missile system. this past June.
Just last month, President Joe Biden agreed Ukraine could use long-range US missiles on Russia, and it seems President Zelensky is taking him up on the offer.
And now, just recently, Yuri Butusov, chief editor of Censor.net, shared the clip of the bombardment on Telegram.
The BM-21 Grad holds the title as the most populous and extensively used multiple launch rocket system globally, which makes sense, since the word “grad” means “hail” in Russian, and can loosley be translated to “hail storm” of missiles.
In a preemptive move, US President Joe Biden has expedited the release of several billion dollars in additional military aid ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony.
Amidst the nearly three-year conflict, Russia and Ukraine, along with their international supporters, are hastily positioning themselves for any potential shifts that Trump might introduce to America’s policy on the broader war.
The president-elect has been vocal in recent days, urging Russia and Ukraine to agree to an immediate ceasefire and hinting that Kyiv should brace for a reduction in US military support.
A Ukrainian drone unit leader, engaged in combat within Russia’s Kursk region as part of the 47th Brigade, declared: “As long as we have ammunition, as long as we have weapons, as long as we have some means to defeat the enemy, we will fight.”
Speaking under the veil of anonymity, the commander also warned: “But, when all means run out, you must understand, we will be destroyed very quickly.”
Since Russia escalated its offensive in Ukraine in February 2022, Washington has provided Kyiv with a staggering $62 billion in military assistance.
