Stinky Piggy’ serial killer’s only regret after feeding victims to his hogs

A serial killer farmer who killed 49 people and fed them to his pigs said his biggest regret was not reaching the “big 5-0” — his victim toll — before being apprehended.

Robert William Pickton’s horrific killing spree included blending his victim’s flesh with pork to sell to unsuspecting customers.

The deranged murderer, who was raised on a pig farm near Vancouver, Canada, targeted drug addicts and prostitutes, reports the Daily Star.

Pickton experienced a rough childhood; he often went to school in filthy clothing stinking of manure, earning the moniker “Stinky Piggy.”

However, it was after he inherited the family farm in the 1980s that his behavior turned sinister.

Pickton was finally arrested in February 2002, almost accidentally, when police raided his pig farm in search of illegal weapons. Instead, they discovered items belonging to women who had long been missing.

DNA evidence linked to 26 missing women, predominantly indigenous, was uncovered on his farm, leading to his arrest and charge for their harrowing murders.

The unkempt farmer, who no one suspected, turned out to be one of history’s most lethal serial killers.

While in prison, Pickton confessed to a fellow inmate, who was actually an undercover officer, that he had killed 49 women, falling short of his grim target of 50, a shortfall that left him irate.

His lapse in caution led to his undoing, as he lamented: “I made my own grave by being sloppy. Doesn’t that just kick you in the ass now.”

He expressed his perverse disappointment: “I wanted one more to make the big 5-0.”

Those were the revelations that solidified his life imprisonment without parole possibility for a quarter-century.
