A wildfire not too long ago erupted in Los Angeles County on Wednesday, prompting evacuation orders from California officers and rapidly scorching 1000’s of acres of land.
The Hughes Hearth, which was first reported on Wednesday morning, is situated within the unincorporated neighborhood of Castaic in northwestern Los Angeles County.
As of 1:15 p.m. native time, the fireplace was 0% contained and had burned over 5,000 acres.

The brand new fireplace comes amid a lethal wildfire season within the Golden State, as firefighters have battled damaging Southern California blazes for weeks.
