New bride, 26, found dead on Miami street – US News – News
A 26-year-old woman was found dead in the streets of Miami, Florida, while on her dream honeymoon with her husband. Aleksandra Leczycka, from Siedlce, Poland, met a tragic end in the US just 23 days after she married Dawid Leczycki.
Just hours before her untimely death, Aleksandra had shared photos of herself enjoying drinks and having fun at a Miami beach. She and Dawid had traveled to the US city for their honeymoon after getting married on August 6, 2022.
The couple were discovered in the streets of the Florida city without their cash and jewelry, leading police to initially suspect they had been drugged and robbed, reports the Mirror UK.
However, following a two-year re-examination of the evidence collected in Miami by Polish prosecutors, a court has determined that they had willingly consumed psychoactive drugs.
It is believed that the couple either overdosed or experienced a severe allergic reaction to the substance.
Siedlce District Prosecutor Krystyna Golabek said: “By a decision, dated October 23, 2024, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Siedlce discontinued the investigation into the case of Aleksandra L., whose death occurred on August 29, 2022, in Miami Beach, USA.
He added: “As well as into the exposure of Dawid L. on the same date and in the same location to immediate danger of death or serious harm to health. Extensive investigative measures were carried out, including a request for legal assistance from the American side, which provided materials from their investigation.”

Golabek noted that an analysis of the evidence indicated that the most probable cause was the voluntary consumption of psychoactive substances by the victims, which led to the woman’s death.
Golabek further mentioned that while the evidence did not completely eliminate the possibility that the victims were involuntarily drugged by someone else, none of the evidence collected during the investigation corroborated this theory.
