New images have emerged of Luigi Mangione struggling with police as he was taken into court for an extradition hearing today.

The 26-year-old was heard shouting that something is “an insult to the intelligence of the American people” as three police officers forcibly guided him into the Pennsylvania courthouse.

He has been charged in New York with multiple offenses, including murder, after UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was gunned down on Wednesday.

Thompson, 50, was due to speak at an investor conference when he was gunned down outside the Hilton Midtown hotel.

Mangione, an Ivy League graduate, was taken into custody on Monday morning after being recognized by an employee at a McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
