A Florida couple has been arrested in connection to the homicide of a young person who was discovered dismembered and discarded into the trash.
Police consider that Florida teen Miranda Corsette, 16, was lured by an older man on social media. The suspect, Steven Gress, 35, is accused of inviting Corsette to his house house in St. Petersburg for Valentine’s Day.
Surveillance footage final captured Corsette getting into Gress’s duplex and was by no means seen alive once more.
Authorities allege that Corsette was introduced into the house Gress shared with Michelle Brandes, 37.
The couple then allegedly assaulted the teenager over suspicions of stealing a hoop, based on a police affidavit obtained by the Tampa Bay Occasions.
The couple are going through first-degree homicide fees for the heinous crime.
Gress had already been in custody after being arrested on March 5 on unrelated drug fees and weapon fees after allegedly pointing a harpoon at Brandes.
Brandes had turned herself in to legislation enforcement on March 8.
