Houston man ‘stabbed sister and niece, 2, to death on Thanksgiving then slept on couch’ – US News – News
While the exact sequence of events leading up to the alleged hostage situation remains murky, there’s no indication that law enforcement engaged with any hostage-taker during their probe.
Upon arrival, authorities found both victims bearing numerous stab wounds.
The Houston Fire Department’s paramedics declared them dead at the scene, according to police reports.
Fisher was purportedly discovered sleeping on a sofa.
“Upon detaining Fisher, officers observed he had injuries consistent with a physical altercation, as well as blood on his clothing,” the press release states. “Fisher was questioned by HPD homicide detectives and, after consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, he was charged with capital murder and booked into the Harris County Jail.”
As of now, law enforcement has not suggested a motive.
Court records show that Fisher’s bail is set at $200,000.
In a bond condition order, Fisher is prohibited from contacting any victims, must refrain from alcohol, undergo drug testing, and wear a GPS monitor. These restrictions, among others, will apply if he manages to post bail.
Prosecutors are calling for Fisher to remain incarcerated until his trial. His court appearance is scheduled for December 3.
