A hiker was brutally attacked by “suspected cartel members” whereas exploring a wilderness space close to the U.S.-Mexico border in San Diego County, in response to the U.S. Border Patrol El Centro Sector.
Officers reported the incident occurred round midday on Wednesday close to the border of San Diego and Imperial counties when a bunch of US residents who had been mountaineering within the Jacumba Wilderness in California was brutally attacked and pelted with gunfire by suspected cartel members.
A Division of Homeland Safety (DHS) supply confirmed to Fox Information that two suspected cartel members, who had been armed with handguns, had been a few thousand yards contained in the U.S. within the Jacumba space after they confronted two hikers within the group and commenced yelling at them in Spanish.
The supply mentioned the hikers didn’t perceive, so the gunmen yelled “come”.
