Luigi Mangione kept in maximum security isolation as ‘memo said he acted alone’
The Gen Z native’s extensive digital footprint on sites like Goodreads and X hint at anti-capitalist sentiments.
According to his Goodreads page, Mangione read the anti-establishment “Unabomber” Ted Kaczynski’s book “Industrial Society and Its Future,” which said, “violence is necessary to survive.”
He also liked a quote from Kurt Vonnegut’s book “Slaughterhouse Five” that says America is “the wealthiest nation on Earth, but its people are mainly poor, and poor Americans are urged to hate themselves.”
He quoted Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World,” a critique of capitalism, in an April tweet.
