Russia’s Protection Ministry has introduced it has taken over Sudzha, the most important city within the Kursk area that has been overrun by Ukrainian forces for the reason that shock cross border offensive in August 2024.
The announcement, made on Thursday, comes as Russian troops are near driving out Ukrainian troopers from their final foothold within the Kursk area.
President Vladimir Putin visited navy headquarters within the area Wednesday and spoke to navy commanders there.
